what is the guardian home program?

Every dog deserves proper attention and love no matter if they are just a pet or selected for a breeding program.  Because of this we have decided to place the majority of our breeding dogs in guardian homes so they can receive the proper attention and love they deserve and a forever family of their own.  We feel it is important to limit the number of dogs on our premises so that each dog and puppy that is here gets the proper attention and love to live a happy life.  Every so often we have a puppy we purchase, or hold back from a litter available for a guardian home.  You will be getting one of the best dogs we have to offer for free in exchange for your assistance throughout the breeding lifetime of the dog.  Read below to find out more about this program.  You will also have the opportunity to fill out an application if you believe you may be a good fit for our guardian home program.

Requirements for a Guardian Home

  • Guardian must live within a 2 hour drive of Sacrament, CA
  • Legal Ownership of the dog and microchip number remains with the breeder until the dog has produced the appropriate number of litters for females or years for males at which time the dog will be spayed or neutered at the expense of the breeder.  Full ownership of the dog will then be transferred to the guardian.
  • Guardian has no right to puppies produced by this dog or to semen produced by the dog.

Benefits of being a guardian home

Being a guardian home for our breeding program has many benefits as well as responsibilities.  We strive for a mutually beneficial relationship between ourselves and our guardian homes.  Firstly, you will be receiving a free puppy and will only need to pay for the cost of shipping if needed.   You will receive one of the best puppies we can produce or a "pick of the litter" puppy from another breeder.  We also have several European imported dogs in our program along with champion sired puppies.   Our goal is to find the best dogs in terms of temperament, health and pedigree for our program, that in turn then goes to you as the guardian family.  We pay for all health testing for the dog and offer lifetime breeder support. We want them to be the best they can be.   When the dog has finished it's agreed upon service they will be spayed or neutered at no cost to you.  for those of you who house female dogs will receive $250 for each litter the dog has as a "thank you" for your patience while your beloved pet is away.  if you have one of our males you will receive $100 every time he is used as3 a stud.  So not only will your receive a $3000 to $5000 puppy for free, you will also be compensated for your teamwork.
